We're delighted to welcome Yvonne Hamilton-Jeffrey as our accompanist for the coming year and US tour of 2007. Yvonne is a fine pianist and extremely accomplished violinist. Her claim to fame is that when she was thirteen years old she played violin on UK national television with Jack Benny! We'll not embarrass her by telling you how 'few' years ago that was. Equally, we're pleased David Hand is able to temporarily replace Ian leading up to (and including) next year's tour. More about both of them in our 2007 tour folder.
Performances and 2007 tour
We now have word that we shall be performing at Jamestown 400 (America's 400th Birthday Party). We feel honoured and privileged to be included in this great occasion.
If you're in the UK come and see us at:
Thomas Bell Country Store, Brigg, N Lincolnshire - December 9, 2006
Hibaldstow Ladies Circle, Hibaldstow, N Lincolnshire - December 21, 2006
Stallingborough Methodist Church, NE Lincolnshire - March 24, 2007
Louth, Lincolnshire, Allegro Appassionato lunch time recital - April 4, 2007
Central Hall, Grimsby, NE Lincolnshire with Grimsby & Cleethorpes Ladies Choir - April 20, 2007
Set in Stone
Recording sessions are now over! We're involved now with remixing at Steve Bird's 'Birdsong Studio' and, come what may, we intend having the CD out by Christmas. We've added two tracks of jazz guitar by Keith's brother Tony Ellis, one we recorded with Ed and two with Yvonne on violin. The title of 'Set in Stone' came from Keith and was arrived at after he had come up with an artwork idea for the inlay.
