This is the first update of the Newsletter since January '04. Apologies to regular visitors. Carolyn (Jeff's daughter) continues to show frustration at Dad's inability to remember what she told him five minutes before, re maintaining the site. If she hadn't spent Christmas back in Scunthorpe you would still be looking at the old site. By the way, hope you like the revisions to it. The new pic's were taken at our annual 'staff' Christmas Dinner, this year held at Artie's Mill, Brigg.
Upcoming Visit to the USA
We are so looking forward to returning for the third time. The number of times we have changed our minds over this trip! First idea was the tour, second was finish off the the CD we began before Ed left us. At one time we even considered doing the tour and the CD but soon realised that Fourum's finances wouldn't stretch to both. In the end the decision was easily made. The tour is just about complete. We know where we are going with one or two dates to 'firm up'.
Our third trip will also include our third accompanist. Ian's wife, Kathryn South, an accomplished musician in her own right - particularly on flute - will be with us to play piano, along with flute solos. To keep an eye on them both they will have with them Tom, their four year old son.

The new CD
Lack of finance is the main cause for holding back this project, now we have decided to make the trip to the USA. 'Sit Back & Relax' received some very generous (and anonymous) financial support which will not be available from the same person for our second CD.

Minor update - March 18, 2005
Jeff's 'Number 1 daughter', Helenne Blewett, has designed a logo for us which, when 'Number 2 daughter', Carolyn, next visits parents we'll get her to add it to the site. Helenne's design raised some very approving comments from a promotions company we have approached for clothing for the 2005 tour.
