Excellent News!
If you've navigated as far as this then you must have noticed that we have a new Baritone in the line-up. It's been a difficult six months or so before we got to Ian. A young man with already a lot of experience. We welcome him to Fourum and hope he will stay for many years. Keith may continue to claim (arguably) that he is the most good looking member, but no longer can he claim to be the youngest. We are all old enough to be his father - and - we probably are older than his father!
We gave Ian a gentle introduction to performance by taking him along to Tesco for our annual sing in the store at Christmas. We were beset with illness, having to cancel three dates. Ed was planning on singing one set with us (for old times' sake) but became ill and had to cancel. So his last sing with us was at Scunthorpe's Baths Hall where we were guests soloists for Scunthorpe Male Voice Choir. We were able to make a presentation to him at the concert and we wish him well in his 'retirement'.
Ian is picking up the repertoire quickly and we are looking forward to getting into the swing of things again. In other words, we are looking for concert dates and venues.

For references and/or recommendations we will be happy to supply contact details of any concert promoter in the UK or USA. And for you folk on the eastern seaboard, we haven't ruled ourselves out of stepping off the plane for a week before flying on.

It's going to take a long time to bring the site fully up to date with photo's, text and sound samples. Jeff's daughter Carolyn Blewett continues to be frustrated by her father's inability to comprehend such a simple thing as updating a web-site!
